Here is the entire translation (don't be mad at me if I fail something): Title: I WANT REMATCH WITH GONZAGA "I won't do anything for 2 weeks. I won't even drink protein drinks nor vitamins. I have to clean my organism. I wanted to start training the very first night after I came back but I know it wouldn't be good" "I don't have to make any excuses to anyone. Besides 2 years in amateur boxing, when I was paid for going on some tournaments, state sport system never invested in me. I am my own investment." "I have no alibi for my bad fight. It's been happening to me in cycles. It seems like after winning Pride's Grand Prix I lost my motivation. I wasn't even satisfied with my first fight in UFC. I didn't want to enter into fight, I was without fighting spirit, I was lost." "Nothing is related to my preparations for the fight or my physical condition, it is focusing on the fight and opponent. I was very nervous before the fight, I was thinking about nonsense, I was kind of bad. I need great souring to be focused again." "After 3 or 4 kicks with elbow in (part of the head on the side near eyes, I don't know the english phrase), when I got up I was dizzy." "I am not used to elbow kicks and that's my problem. I will also have to work additional exercises for my hurt ancles (I hope ancle is the right word)" Thanks in advance for green reps
Like you'd expect every PRIDE fighters to win every match. Cro cop got knocked out once in UFC. Big deal.
I say I'll still go for Captain America and the Natural... This guy is a great fighter. He has won 2 titles in different divisions. Defeating the bad boy from Huntington tito ortiz?! This man is crazy
I don't think Mirko should get a re-match straight away. He lost, fair and square and should move on.
Mirko should fight 2 or 3 matches to get the chance for rematch. He lost in straight match and has to earn his chance for rematch... Very good news I've heard yesterday is that Minotaur is expected to have his debut in UFC soon. I can't wait to see him, he is an excellent fighter...
He will make his debut against Heath Herring on the UFC 73 card. I am not sure why they are putting him in against Herring considering he has fought and defeated him twice. It kind of takes the suspense away when they have him fight someone that he has dominated 2 times in the past. It will probably still be exciting though, considering their other fights were. Hopefully we get to see a sick Noguera submission.
I was very surprised that Cro-Cop lost. I rate him highly, but Fedor is the man. The greatest pride fight has to be Yoshihiro Takayama vs Don Frye A couple of minutes of pure violence. Fighting has moved on because of UFC/Pride. I remember the first UFC when Gracie dominated. Tinman
Anyone watch the UFC last night? It was a good card. Quinton Jackson knocked out Chuck Liddell and won the Light heavyweight title. Then they announced that he would be fighting the Pride Light heavyweight & Middleweight Champion Dan Henderson. Definitly looking forward to that. Dan is a lot smaller than Quinton, but he is tough as hell.
Unfortunately there is no chance to watch UFC in Croatia when there was no Mirko CroCop. The news from Croatia is that CroCop bought octagon and installed it. He stated on national TV that he will punish himself for latest loss by getting up early and by starting early morning trainings from 6:00 to 9:00. He seemed very optimistic, repeated that he underestimated his opponent and promised to work hard to get the title and end his career with the title in his hands. Can't wait for his next match, he'll be very pissed
Quinton Rampage Jackson rocksssssssssssssssssssss!!!!! It took only one counter right to finish Liddell. I never saw Liddell fight backwards with any other fight but he looked scared of Rampage, That guy is solidly built. What a destruction!!!!
Liddell fights moving backwards in a lot of his fights. You typically see it when he is fighting good wrestlers. He stays mobile, tries to keep his distance, and counter punches. And yeah man Quinton totally rocks. I love watching him fight. I am realy happy that he got the belt. There was a peirod of time when he was going threw a few losses that people thought he just did not have it in him anymore. But now everone's thinking different. His new trainer Juanito Ibarra has realy had a huge impact on him. You can totally see it. Anyways. His next fight is Dan Henderson. That should be a good one.
I called the Liddell fight. Everyone I know was babbling about how Chuck was going to own him. I stood up stated that Chuck won't make it out of the first round, they all laughed at me
Ultimate Fighting Championship... Whos who? hmmm... Ok... Let me introduce you Randy The natural Couture. He is my favorite a title holder of UFC and also a hall of famer. I wonder when he will step again on the octagon and whos gonna be his next mission? Anyone here know? Thanks
He is going to fight Gabriel Gonzaga next. I believe it will be at UFC 74: August 25, 2007. Gonzaga is the guy who just KOed Cro Cop. That is what earned him the title shot.
