Anyone here using Contextweb? Are there better alternatives?

I'm currently with Contextweb ... but rates are low ... around $1 per 1,000 impressions

Are there better alternatives that pay higher?

You should try Lukads. You can set the rate yourself, and you won't get any ads on your site that pay less than that.

You can try adsense. Or trafficrevenue.net.

I do have a complaint about contextweb though. Their rates are good and you can pick them. But they don't allow dating sites and they don't say this on their support or FAQ page. But if you try to add a domain of a site that is related to dating in any way, they will reject it without telling you why. Then you have to write them and they will explain to you that their "ad membership program" (whatever that means) doesn't allow dating sites to become publishers. If that's so, then they should say that in their FAQ or support page. The fact that they don't, seems kinda suspicious and shady. This means that those using dating sites will be rejected for no reason that they can see, unless they drill ContextWeb support about it. What are they hiding?
