Several years ago they were all the rage, but they screwed it up big time (imagine frozen accounts, delaying payments etc).

This is old news though, I think they are owned by a different company now. Also be aware that they have a more peculiar business model. More exactly you will get an Ikobo debit card, which has a monthly maintenance fee. If you plan to do business regularly with it this shouldn't be a problem, but if you intend to use it rarely it's not worth the trouble.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards, George

ikobo is very nice money transfering service.... and if you have any questions then you can contact them on online chat with one of there staff.. but they dont allow merchant acconut... you can recieve and send money for personal reason.... not for business.... and they will suspend your account if they find out your doing business... :D last year they suspend my account... because a customer was having problem using his CC.. and he contact them...

Agreed! I m fully satisfied with Ikobo service till far. Their Customer support is more efficient than xoom :D Most importantly they issue a MetaBank VISA debit card and the money comes within a second after the sender sends you. I m just waiting for them to accept paypal, definitely lots of the paypal users going to use it if they provide funding it using PP.

Ikobo is worthy to give it a try i would say :)
