Anyone here making 40-50K monthly? Maybe more? All I hear is affiliate companies bragging about people making that much or more. But have never heard of anyone? Maybe there are none on here because they are too busy working.....but if there are, what do you do differently to make that much? I am not asking you for your secrets..but is it as simple as spending large amounts of money on PPC search engines? Thanks.
There are affiliates who are engaged in PPC marketing (arbitrage) who make thousands and even tens of thousands monthly and there are affiliates who do natural search and make $5K-20K per month or more. The reality is that only a small percent of affiliates are in that group. They obviously found niches; some managed to position their websites well for certain targeted keywords on search engines; others found profitable niches in PPC -- buy low and turn-the-traffic around into higher paying commissions. There are no neophytes making thousands of dollars per month. Usually, you need to really understand the systems, search algorithms and how you can harness them to achieve your goal. Of course, there is some element of luck especially when it comes to natural search traffic. I hope this answers your question.
Its really sad how everyone makes it seem so easy to make $ through CPA and PPC. As with any business you have to spend an exceptional amount of time (i spend 10-12 hours a day, while doing full time in college and another job) learning the intricacies of your selected offers. Also as mentioned above, natural traffic is great but required much more time and effort to gain.
I agree. I think most of this "easy money" idea comes from ebooks, and ads saying its easy. Ask anyone making $4,000 to $20,000 a month from this stuff, and ask them if it is easy. The answer you will most likely get is: "Easy for me, because I know what im doing" SO it does become EASY once you get the knowledge and EXPERIENCE of doing it, and diversify, diversify and DIVERSIFY! Anyways, I think I should write an ebook called: "How I made $30,000 USD before 10 am!" Sub Text "Yes its true! You can do it too! All you need to do is become a CEO of a huge company! ITS THAT EASY!" There are alot of marketers on this forum, and like it that make enough to make it full time, compared to a somewhat good job full time, and some make more than they ever would full time in any job they would qualify for. It is not easy to make big money online. It is a lot of work and a lot of thinking out side of the box (this phrase is overused but still true). How many members are on this forum? Now common sense says that most people will read the content here and take it for what it is in its entirety as opposed to analyzing and going in a different direction using the same concepts. If someone tells you not to promote something because its saturated, think about why they want to share that useful information? People make five figures a day! If you can make 10 cents off the 20,000,000 people who visit the internet each day (I am sure its more than 20 Million) then you would be making 2 million a day. Far fetched but all you need is a small piece of that traffic pie. 0.1% of that traffic would make 20K a day. I guess the big guys find ways to get traffic.
I agree with MikeIMM I always worked hard at my online businesses. It wasn't until I stopped listening to everyone else and thought for myself "outside the box" that I started to earn a good income online....a few thousand a month. When I get to 5 figures a month, I'll be back to tell ya!... Jim
Yes, actually all things people talk about "saturated" cause they don't want competition. And about audience I think there are at least 200,000,000 (or even more) of english speaking audience, not just 20 mil.
Making money with affiliates is actually easy, you can easily pull in a couple thousand a month or more quite easily and right off the bat. It's getting past that point that'll take more time, practice, TESTING, and research. But don't expect the gurus to come on here and tell you something you haven't already heard. They'll tell you the main points that everybody will tell you, they're not going to tell you exactly what they do to make $1,000,000+ yearly. It's all worth it though, even if you lose money at first (which if you have a little guidance -aka any help on this forum which is free- you won't lose money), just think about it. You can make an 8 hour full workday's pay WHILE YOU'RE SLEEPING - is that not the sweetest thing in the world? Making money from affiliates = easy. Making a living from affiliates = easy, but a lot of work. If anybody is noob-ish and wants help starting up, just shoot me a PM.
200 Million is even better, more for everyone. I don't have a ton of time but i am more than willing to help people on DP think outside of the box. I would post ideas on the forum but then everyone would jump on the idea and lower the potential. Hi, i agree with ya all , testing is one of the most important thing. Without testing you CANT know if it will work or not. Listen to big aff's but do what YOU think .. !
Testing is obviously important but so is imitation. Look at what successful affiliates are doing and use it as "launch-pin" to start your own marketing. Usually, successful people have already tested what works and what doesn't so why reinvent the wheel?
Doesnt Yahoo get 60 billion total impressions a day? I know I check my mail several times a day. I also play lots of yahoo games like chess and literati. Each time counts as an impression. I have friends who claim to make over $100 a day, $3000+ a month. I will be extremely happy to make that, itll make jobs useless and I can live anywhere I want! I know ill need a bunch of different sponsors and websites basically.
Be happy if you can pull in even 50 dollars a month. Any extra amount in your pocket is something to be proud of. About five years ago (before all of the SPAM laws) it was easy to pull in 6 figures in a matter of months with SPAM, free for all links and CLickbank
That wont do me any good. I need a good, soild income to be made on the internet because I want to live somewhere there are no jobs but houses are dirt cheap. I could get a job here but only the rich can afford a house where I live so a job wont do me any good except save up for a house in the new location.
Good niche that pays and has demand + quality traffic from seo/ppc/etc = money Its that simple. All you need to do is pick the niche, learn what converts and why, and get the traffic to it using the methods that work for that nice. Is it that hard?
