Travis Sago, the bum marketing guru, says he averages $20 an article. Anyone here seeing those numbers for your articles?

Also, how long did it take you to get money on a brand new niche?

He says he makes $20 per month on each one. If you find good niche you can. It takes while for site to be listed and that depends on search terms and competition for the term.

It's possible if you find a good niche and do the research correctly. But yes, it does take time. Going for less than 10,000 search results in Google and not many top 10 results with PR3+ is a good way to start.

Well think of it this way. If you have an article with an affiliate link worth $15 dollars a sale, it really isn't that hard once you have gotten the technique down.

Many people average well over $100 per article per month.

I would recommend you are very careful with so called "guru tricks" - after all if they were as good as the "guru's" claim, then why would they sell their system? If you are going to make $100 a month, or possibly thousands if you have lots of sites, then why would someone sell you a method of doing it for $19.99?

You have to use your common sense here abit

Certainly you can make a reasonable amount promoting affiliate products via articles with your affiliate link at the end. There is nothing new in this kind of approach

However you would probably make alot more if you were the merchant who wrote the eBook report in the first place, which is not particularly difficult since most eBook reports are fairly short

The other thing to bear in mind is that people are not stupid - they can tell an affiliate link when they see one. Many affiliate links work by some kind of cookie based system which doesnt always work correctly - so you might end up advertising someone elses product, without actually being paid for every sale

The BUM idea is fine as it stands - but be careful

Bum marketing is an old Guru tricks and cannot be used nowadays. Most of article directory not accept affiliate link placed in your bio box. I tried and failed. Even for the free ads site they won't accept your affiliate links for free unless you are paid member.

Ah yes, but they do allow url masks. Check out GoDaddy, they have a sale for $.99 .info domains. If you found that helpful, you are definitely going to want to check out my website for much more than just that.

I think you could get banned at ezinearticles.com if they catch you hiding affiliate links. You can use a top-level domain to redirect, but not a sub-domain.

It is possible but like other members have mentioned it is difficult, specially nowadays. It looks like everytime a guru reveals his/her methods is because such a method is not as productive as it used to be. If you think about it why will someone reveal his/her method of making money to thousands of people. They sell you the trick knowing that is not as productive anymore and you will have to find a way around new obstacles and rules but they don't tell you how to do that.

In conclusion, yes you can make $20/month or more with this method but you will have to find methods to overcome new rules and/or competition.

You can definitely make a good amount of money with bum marketing, or at the very least a lot of traffic to your main site. I have an article that within a few days of submitting to ezinearticles, took the #1 spot on google for the keyword i was targeting out of like 20 million, and that article has brought me more traffic to my site than all my other articles combined, easily.

I have tried Bum Marketing and this mini course has helped me a lot. once I joined this I'm like this stuff is child's play, but the methods written in the course are really effective in any marketing field, in other words follow it and prosper! I like Goarticles for article submissions, they are the best in my opinion. Article marketing is a cheaters way of getting rich, guess why I said that? Because barely no one constantly does it. I've had great success with it but am no where close to $20 per article. How is everyone else doing?

Yeah, I don't think a lot of people are doing article marketing, because to truly be effective, you've got to submit a lot of articles.

$20/article? Assuming that it'd take me roughly one hour to research, write and submit the article, I'd be taking a HUGE paycut.

I have not seen those numbers, but as with anything you have to remember he knows how to optimize his articles, titles, landing pages, or what have you. It is as easy as he says, but it isn't. You have to learn I guess through trial and error what you are doing.

    Best of Luck

    Ain't that the truth....lol

I have come to that conclusion after spending hundreds upon hundreds of dollars on these ebooks and systems. Some of them better then others but I always find their techniques to be outdated or less effective then what the guru is trying to promote.
