I've been thinking about doing it for ages, once I have a format worked out and a rating system tied into it then it would just flow. I've always thought that the big game reviewers that exist are in it for money one way or another and a lot of the time you just think how the hell did that game get 9/10 eyc. and although I love the GTA series, no way GTA IV deserved 10/10, more like 6/10 imo (though I did play it religiously from the very day it was released). Could use the same system but for movies, and with DVD rental companies providing you with movies (and games) to review (even if they're old, hey as the saying goes "content is king") all it would take is to produce a small monthly revenue and you're doing it for free, as well as getting to watch various movies and play various games(try before you buy really, even if you have to wait a while for new releases). Anyway.. Have you made such a site(or sites) or know someone that has, if so, have you/they considered it a success and why? (even if the answer is something like because it's a personal project and just something they wanted to do). Although I prefer to make my own CMS for projects like this, I might see if I can find a clone, as it's not something majour just something I'd like to do. Scot
I'm also interested in beginning an site like that but im currently busy with an webshop that uses an ecommerce cms that could be easily modified to make it in a site like imdb but then with integrated shopping cart. Pm me if ur interested in working together
