Hi i'm thinking of starting a forum and leaning towards mybb.. I want them mainly because they are free and the security. i've been told is much better then phpbb3. The only problem. I cant find many designers. Anyone know of any companies who have design samples on thier website? I'm wanting to do a seo theme related forum, bloggers, website owners, and mabey a small IT section. Any ideas would be much valued. Thanks and have a great day.
This is my MyBB forum. http://www.dashingforums.com As for SEO, I only use Google SEO, which is a strong plugin for MyBB. I also know how to play around with MyBB themes (but I don't make them), so you can really make any crappy MyBB theme look great if you just know a bit of HTML/CSS.

Wait till Audentio's forum comes back up. He's bringing in a lot of new themes that would be good for you. I do appreciate your comment, however. Pretty damn cool theme, I gotta say.
what do you guys think people like in forums... calm like dp or flashy like warrior forum? i noticed wf has more people on al the time and the colors are kinda eye catching. also, what do you think it would take to get a forum to get 20,000 pageviews a day? wouldnt that bring like 5k in adsense?

If you're willing to change the backgrounds and the font (I personally don't like MyBB + Verdana), then you can make it into a really good theme. Neither of those are hard to change.
Ya i'm thinkin of doing vb istead.. bit more spendy but much better themes out there. been looking alot today.
