Anyone here have sucess with chinesse or indian sites

    Has anyone here marketed a site exclusively at the Chinese or Indian market
    Was it sucessful in terms of getting real traffic, selling goods or an active forum, or user generated content site.
    Its a large market but is it fully internet friendly yet

    A large part of my income comes from sites targeting Indians (I have a fairly successful forum too).

    India is large market if you consider the traffic potential.

    However, compared to US/EU users, Indians are still far behind in purchasing power and willingness to transact online.

    Selling goods online to Indians isn't easy.

    However there many affiliates network coming with exclusive indian offers. So worth the advance building up ;)

    No, never focus on those two market. The population and internet user is many but the traffic from this two country not make good conversion and earning

    Yes i have marketed some high tech product at china and its a big hit.
    It used up 100GB bandwidth/day for my site with only 1 week old.
    What i do is advertise at their TV and newspaper.

    indian sites are the best... Iam making lot of money promoting in indian sites. it is cheap and very high returns

    I got a big Chinese travel book and I was thinking of blogging about China travel, encouraging Chinese people to travel and explore their own country. The obstacle is that most in China don't understand English. Language has been the barrier for me. So I postpone my planned website.
