    Im going to use maxcdn as my cdn provider with originpull but im not sure im doing everything right so far.

    I have created cdn.mydomain.com and received a cname record.

    What confuses me a little is do I upload my static content to cdn.mydomain.com ?

    Im mostly playing around but im going to do my first try later today...

    Yes I believe. I am using Cloudflare and it takes care of everything from setting the cname and delivering the content. Not very sure about maxcdn. You can give cloudflare a try if you find any issue setting up the cdn.
