    Blogspot is a good step for new blogger but if you serious about making money from your blog, it's time for you to buy domain + hosting and learn how to use Wordpress. It's good for long term plus you can sell them anytime you need quick cash. Making $100/month is not a hard thing to do as long you keep posting & promoting your blog.
