    Greetings all!

I am creating a war/army-based online game. I need to setup a vbulletin forum soon. The problem is, I am pretty low on creativity. :p And, I have no exposure to army terms.

I have configured Usergroups based on Army Ranks, from Second Lieutenant to General of the Armies. However, I am facing a HUGE block trying to rewrite these cheesy reputation levels into lines that are very relevant to, say, the officers in the Army, but at the same time, not relating to (or contradicting) to the Usergroups they might be in. Plus, the comments need to be better and better as we go down.

Would you like to help me out with this following levels?

    User is a notorious idiot
User can only hope to improve
User has a little shameless behavior in the past
User is an unknown quantity at this point
User is on a distinguished road
User will become famous soon enough
User has a spectacular aura about
User is a jewel in the rough
    User is just really nice
User is a glorious beacon of light
User is a name known to all
User is a splendid one to behold
User has much to be proud of
    User has a brilliant future
User has a reputation beyond repute

    Thanks in advance! :)

That's a tricky one. Which country are you thinking of? If it's the British Army I might be able to help.

Actually, US, but I don't really see how much difference that would make. British should be pretty cool actually. More class. :)

Class? You want to see some of the people I've worked with!

I suppose it would be easiest to base it on an officer's typical career progression.

Officer Cadet -> Graduates Sandhurst -> Platoon Commander -> Company Commander -> CO of a Battalion -> CO of a Battle Group (or Whitehall brew bitch) -> CO of a Brigade -> General Officer Commanding (GOC) a Division -> Adjutant General (for sake of argument) -> Chief of the General Staff.

    lol :)

Yeah, I have a similar (equivalent I guess) version of the US Army I am using for the Usergroups. Its just that I have the least idea about framing reputation levels to go with the hierarchy.
