I cannot stand flying. The actual flying rattles my nerves (I think it stems from my father's antics with me in his plane when I was young), and the circus that has become commercial airports further deters me. Shame too, cause I enjoy seeing new places, and getting around, just not in the air.
I actualy have some pilots in my family. Id consider it as a carrer, but before an airline will even look at you, you need 1000 hours of flight time. Thats impossible and way to expensive! So... Ive decided Id like to work for the airlines, although being their money manager or something
Not 1000 hours anymore. Most commuter airlines (PSA, Piedmont, Comair, etc) down in the states now start hiring with 250-400 hours (as of last June when I last checked). I'd like to work for an airline too, rather own one though I'm starting a forum today, www.totalaviation.org. Hope to have it ready in a few hours. Will be looking for some staff shortly
