I am having some sites of mine hosted with urlhost. Seems the servers are down since yesterday. All sites on their host plus even their own site. Does anybody have any kind of information about this?
I am in the same situation and I have some serious problems about this. If someone knows a way to reach them it will be good.
I assume you mean urlhost.net in which case have you tried phoning the phone # listed in their whois http://whois.domaintools.com/urlhost.net .
I have tried to call them but there is a voice mail message in spanish. Really odd... the number I dialed is for sure from US.
I use them too, along with another guy who I know. I hope they go back online because this is nuts. They have been down for a long time.

I have also same problem, i am using urlhost.net and sites are done since yesterday. Tried to send mail to support but it is not online, can not contact support, mail delivery failed. Looking like whole server is down.
Sorry to hear about that, did you guys try emailing? That WHOIS search brings up the domains personal information, so when you called is house is maybe why you heard Spanish; since you called his personal phone. Check your PMs, for some information.
Hmmmm I am starting 2 hate them 2 days down... I need my sitessss I have PM-ed (no answer), e-mailed (failure delivery), called (some spanish voice mail answered)... I don't know what to do... I just hope they have problems and they will be back soon because I have many sites with them.
Their site is up now, maybe our sites will be up soon. I really want to hear what happened with their servers...
Damn, They didn't have a record of E-mails and didn't mass everyone about what's up. This is costing me a lot. I hope they get it together soon.
Most of my site are hosted with them only.I am having the same problem. Hope they will come back so atleast i can take some files from their server.
Problem solved today for me. They contacted me the next day after I noticed they have been down. They had problems with spammers. Hopefully they had kept all backups and my sites are fully functional again. I have read some things about this company in this thread. I just want to say that they seem to be proffessionals that just got into a bad situation. I didn't like this but I am satisfied by the way they handled it. At least with the responses I got. Anyway I am back in business, and I am sure going to backup my sites more often after this.
This is a great example of why it's a bad idea for the host to have their site on the same server as customers. When something bad happens there is no way for customers to contact them. Maybe urlhost can learn from this and put their own site somewhere else.
