You are mistaken my friend. Web 2.0 has nothing to do with CMS, well directly....It is actually a new trend in internet and web terminology that deals with creative and collaborative website design. Refer here for more details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_2.0
This was thoroughly hashed and rehashed in another thread. You got it wrong then, and you still have it wrong. gary
It's a bit difficult to define, well properly - just don't make the mistake of associating AJAX with it
Marketspeak buzzword == Poochy... ah heck, I'll just link to last time this came up. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=783594
Keep guessing guys. Even a million monkeys might eventually get it right. Every couple of weeks, someone on the forums I visit brings this question up and virtually no one gets it right. And it's been going on for over a year or more. Gary (above) and I just laugh.
Web 2.0 is nothing but a new approach of website design & presentation. the basic idea of web 2.0 is present many things in a single web page without making a mess. AJAX is one of the key element in web 2.0 designs. twitter.com is a best example of a typical web 2.0 design. all other portals like bbc.com or cnn.com is still considered as the web 1.0 . hope it describes.
