I was looking in google, researching some competition when i found this:

    www. ultraadvancedsymposium.com/

Has anyone ever heard about it?
Is it good, bad, I found it from here:

    www .seotoday.com

I'm a noob  but I never heard about those speakers, or even those websites mentined anyware, and I read most important seo blogs, forums (as far as i know)

Sounds like I just found a new seo "neighborhood"

p.s. non clicky links "just in case" (tm)

I'd be wary of anybody using the term "ultra advanced"!

This looks to be heavier on marketing than SEO.

    Did not see anybody familiar.

The page looks like an ebook sellers page. My 7 year old can make better looking pages.

I wouldn't judge the quality of a site's content or quality by the design. The #1 site in my field had the world's crappiest site design for about 7 years, and it only just changed into something respectable a few months back.

P.S. I didn't look at this site and I'm not judging it, just the notion of judging a site by the design.

I think everyone judges a site by design. If the site is not professional looking there is no way I'm giving it any kind of credit card info. If the site doesn't look professional I immediately give it less credit when I visit it, so I will most likely leave earlier if I can't find what I'm looking for.

So if your selling something (service/product) you should have a decent design. As far as trust and professionalism, tons of people look at the design its called first impression.

One of the hosts for the symposium, Robin Nobles, is the director for the Academy of Web Specialists. The speakers appear to be protege's of her Academy.

I have to agree. Sites that have the look and feel on an "online infomercial" are usuallly selling total crap. I have never seen a site with that "Internet infomercial" look and feel selling anything that I would consider quality. It's probably just another "Hey, I've got all the best AdSense keywords for just $40" kind of site.
