One of the blogs I run is in the financial aid niche, and lately the ads I have gotten for my content are horrible. This blog is all about scholarships, student loans, etc. but lately the ads are targetting crap. i checked my website and currently the ads range from "criminal justice degree online", to dominos pizza, to "wanna be a bounty hunter"...what the hell is this? A month ago i was getting ads totally relevant to my content with a very high click through rate and now all i have is this crap...ctr is down to under 0.5% too. anyone else experiencing this or have any idea how to fix it? for a second i thought maybe i had posted an off-topic post at some point...to make up for this possibility i made about 10 new posts full of relevant keywords but it hasn't fixed the problem a single bit. UPDATE: I just checked my site in greater detail, and the ads are even more irrelevant than i thought. ads include stuff for jamba juice and black friday deals? any idea WHY this would happen. my postings are all focused on the right keywords, could it be that im using too many different ones or something...?
Give your url and I'll tell you what kind of ads I see from where I live. Relevancy of ads also depend on the visitor's country.
okay, the main issue seems to be that the ads won't display right on my blog's main page. the content is right for when i go to a specific post but on the main page, where i have the last five posts (they all contain a good number of relevant keywords), a directory, and ads, its wrong...no clue why the hell this is happening
