I'm stuck between some book site and something else on page 77! It's done this since April periodically I mean. Look what happened to traffic last time:

Basically, only a link appears under LATEST ARTICLES and the summary is also different that does not appear on the article's page. I think that is pretty safe?

I've no idea I think Google is broken or it's glitched. It has been doing it since April and that Dewey update whatever that was.

Me too. Went from front page (or second page) on most of my keyword combinations (for hundreds of pages) to not being able to find any in the result pages. -- site:xxxxxxxx still reports them indexed.

It happens a lot with new sites, new sites often get ranked highly and then drop but if you can find a few PR5-6 backlinks and get the anchor text of the search term it should stay more stable. Also write more content with the keywords you want to rank for.

    Hope this helps.

You can never go wrong with more relevant backlinks! I've never had this problem and I have many good backlinks I've built.

If your site is aged, bouncing may be caused because of spam and algorithmic penalty filter calculations. You rank, filter triggers, you drop.

Other guess could be recent changes. It takes time to index, cache, recalculate and push current information to all datacenters. Sometimes one Google datacenter may have a bit older index version than other etc.

Third guess is algo change. It also takes some time to recompute index and different datacentres may give different rank.

Fourth guess: Google may run many parallel algos to test best results. Some SERPs are affected, some not.

This occurs due to fluctuations in Google's servers. Give it a while and it should eventually become more stable.

Still stuck on page fricking 78. It's bots are on the site because I've changed title page and that's reflected in the search results. A normal position would be pages 3-9 not 70 something, however it has been like this since April.

I would be worried and I am about bouncing between page 1 and page 2. No one other than you knows your on the 7th page.

Many things cause site to bounce around and a good reason is related to what your competition is doing.
