I am looking for a new office chair for my home, because I do a lot of work at the home, and I go through office chairs like crazy, and I was just wondering if anyone knew what type of office chairs would be a good one, for comfort mostly at home. Thanks in advance.
I present to you: the "Super Comfy Chair" brought to you by Geekologie: http://www.geekologie.com/2007/02/super-comfy-chair.jpg
Hah, it sure is geeky. As for the chair -- as long as it's comfortable to your body and healthy for your spine, go for any brand.
Actually, an office chair is rated by the number of hours it is used daily. The more hours you sit in it a day, the higher the rating you need. Also, the price goes up accordingly.
I'm also in need of a new office chair but don't have the cash for that 'spacecraft' chair just now. Any other suggestions? Where can I find a site/store that rates the chairs?
I am looking at places online all the time, and I am looking for ergonomic office chairs, and I went to like eBay, and stuff but I couldn't find a good one I like, any suggestions on where to get one? Like online somewhere?
Hey man I've been looking and found this. Might be alright? I'm not a big fan of leaning back in the chairs, though I do like the seat to be angled backwards, if you lean against the back of a chair all day it means you aren't working hard enough, lol, but seriously. Office Chair The only thing I'm not sure about is whether the mesh moulds or not or if it's solid steel!?
I tried to find some of the sites that used to sell office chairs based on hours of usage, but it appears that all the manufactors switched to "All chairs are rated for 24 hour extensive use". It looks like ergonomics is the key factor these days...
