Anyone Have Any Success Stories To Share?

I'm due to put out a quarterly newsletter to nearly 18,000 users of the keyword tracker, and figured it would be a good opportunity to help grow the ad network by giving it a plug there. I'm going to mention specific examples of my own, but it would be good to have others if anyone cares to share...

I imagine success stories like this are happening all across the network. :)

As for me, last month I built a new page for a prime regional term that would compete with over five (5) million other pages. I set up an ad on the network, applied the juice, and within one (1) week I was in Google's "Top Ten."

    That's what I'm talking about! :D

You can use the below if you wish:

    It's difficult to achieve top ranking in the web hosting business. By joining the Co-op network;
I've gotten the top 10 for certain keywords; and have stayed at the top for them. I've gained several
thousand backlinks. As an experiment; I recently added a brand new template site and added it to the network. It was completely
spidered within 2 days and I have over a hundred backlinks showing for it.

I've poked around the seo business for long enuf to have a minor grasp on some current trends..

The fact that none of the links in the coop are permanent makes it impossible for the so-called sandbox effect to be circumvented. In my experiments, rotating random links have zero anchor text effect.

Still, I like that my "weight" default when I first signed up was 20,500 and now after a couple days is already 40,500. Anyone who disagrees with my off-the-cuff assessment want to pay for some weight? :D

You sure about that? Check allinanchor for "ebay", "eharmony" or "hummer dealer" (digitalpoint.com, youlovedeals.com and worldclasshummer.com).

I'm totally sold on the coop network!

As I mentioned on a previous post, I have been struggling with ranking on some competitive keywords in my industry: christian books, christian book, and christian book distributor.

Within 5 days, I jumped from obscurity to top 20. In two weeks, I was position 9, 6, and 3 respectively! I would have thought it was impossible if I didn't experience it myself. I can say that my current rankings are solely due to the network, as I don't have many IBL with good anchor texts.

Thank you, Shawn, for creating an excellent tool and offering it for free.

Shawn, I think your eBay page is probably the best advertisement for what the network can do (though I'm sure there's alot of weight behind it).

Before you send out that newsletter, I would really recommend redoing and adding to the FAQ and instructions. I've been lurking in this forum for awhile, and it would save all of us alot of trouble wading through messages if there was a page or two that answered many of the common questions.

AIA #1 for about a dozen search phrases that have 2,500 + searches per day- pending the lift out of the sandbox in the next month or two, should hold some very strong positions.

I think it's a distinct advantage - Google must record the 'vote' for the linked page and the anchor text at the time of spidering. This is witnessed by some ( non-network ) pages still appearing in the backlinks results when the link has been removed form the page. I wouldn't doubt that more 'votes' are counted than would seem reasonable for a given network weight as Google spiders pages more frequently because of the changing content.

#1 for all the allin searches...

Are you looking to have actual testimonials?

I don't even have any weight yet (have signed up but not installed/validated etc.), did a deal with a coop member exchanging weight for links and shot to #4 on Yahoo in 48hrs for the targeted phrase. Now I can disable the Overture ad and save money! No real impact on Google yet but it's only a relatively small amount of weight and still early days.

I am working 2 very difficult terms thru the coop network
    As Seen On TV
    Home & Garden

Each of those have risen at least 6 spots due in part to the COOP network. Earlier this week when my ads werent running cuz of my validation issue, the words each slipped 3-4 spots in a few days. I think that says it all about the network and how important it can be :)

Got in the CAN 11/8 (thanks to l0cke's asp version). My site was nowhere (over #100) for Christmas Ornaments. 11/24 was 25, 26 was 7 and now since 11/29 I'm 4. And #2 for allinanchor.

I don't know if this is an effect of the CAN but I'm #1 for Beta MSN for Christmas Ornaments and Home Decor.

Now we'll have to see if these results hold..

The coop network has puched me to the top allinanchor sports for all the keywords I promote through the network. Postions in Google have slowly been climbing, but the real perk this early in the game has been Yahoo & MSN. If I'm page 5 in Google for a term I'm page 1 in Yahoo...and Yahoo page 1 brings some nice traffic for my terms.

Ok, how is this for a success story. Only been on the network for about 10 days. According to this, I am 9th for "Linkin Park" but according to google I am 13. I like the 9 better.

Notice how everything has pretty much increased recently.
