Anyone here own an anime site with adsense ads? If so, can you give me a rough idea on the amt you're making, and your traffic? I heard anime sites are hard to make AdSense $$$
A quick look at this tool suggests that anime pays out 0.07 http://conversion.7search.com/scripts/advertisertools/keywordsuggestion.aspx This of course may not be entirely accurate, your mileage may vary, etc etc etc. But hopefully it gives you a ball park figure. You can still make a shit load if you drive a lot of traffic through and have a decent amount of click thrus. You're just going to have to work a little harder at it than if you had a higher paying keyword. I'm in the dating/seduction biz and my keywords, from what I can figure out, range from 0.02 to 0.31. Again, this isn't an exact science, I've had individual clicks that have given me 0.5 to 0.75, but those are few and far between. I am managing to maintain a minimum of 0.02 IPU (income per Unique) per day.
You can basically make good money with any type of site, it just depends to what degree. A site with high-paying keywords has the potential to make more with less traffic, more with more traffic (etc. etc.), and a site with low-paying keywords will demand that you have high traffic in order to make a decent income. So, site theme + traffic = your potential earning.
anime sites are nothing to run home about .. about 5-10 cents per click depending on how google feels that day, so you will need to build up hefty traffic make decent money
Are you sure that tool is for adsense? I checked a couple of my keywords and found max bid 2cents this has two problems 1. min bid on adwords is 5 cents @60% would mean min of 3cents 2. the amount I get for clicks on ads is a damn site more than 2 cents
It's not a tool specifically for Google Adsense, but rather another advertiser. It just give you an idea how much another competitor is playing the game. In my field, the tool suggests anywhere between 0.02 up to a max of 0.31. Reach is reasonably accurate as that seems to be how much I actually make per click, though I've seen as high as 0.75 (but rarely).
I run several anime sites, and yeah, each click is in general pretty low, but if you have decent traffic, all the clicks will add up to a decent amount. The good thing with these kinds of sites though is that it's easier to get traffic, at least in my own experience.
has this recently changed? I'm sure I had it in my head that it used to be 5 cents. I stand corrected
