    You can read the rules on a debit card .It clearly says that It is valid for payment in INR only . RBI allows this only on debit cards . So You can not verify the above mentioned card. Unless you take a ICICI bank Credit card.

    Most Indian Banks also Offer ZERO COST Credit Cards, you can try your luck to apply for it, May be a Credit Card like Free to Join, Zero Annual Fee can be your best friend.

    These cards may have less or No incentives on shopping cause you are not paying anything to get and use it, just pay your bills if any on time and it keeps you working.

    Ok so what i gather from here is that i can open a simple savings account in HDFC and then by paying a yearly 700 i can get a visa gold card through which i can validate my paypal account . is it? and if I'm not eligible for a credit card what can i do to get my paypal account in india validated (excluding virtual credit card as an option). Any other method through any other bank in india?

    Paypal uses credit/debit card information to validate your id and billing information. Using virtual credit card you are breaking their TOS. Also whenever your account limited , what you show to paypal as cc statement?
    As for kind information - Paypal didn't accept soft copies of cc statement.

    Who told that Indian debit card's can't be processed in USD.
    It can.

    Try : UTI BANK , SBI BANK : International Master Card logo'ed debit card.
    It can simply verify paypal.
    To get expuse number - Simply go to branch manager - Ask for Offshore Debit card electronic transiction statement.

    Get number and enter it.

    I have did it. And using my account smoothly.

    Hi all i am from Pakistan . I have two Paypal account one from UK and one is from UAE in my UK account the problem is UK accounts is only verified through bank account so i make an another account choosing UAE but still i haven't verified my account i don't know why???? :( I add my payoneer debit card correctly but my account is not verified and Paypal only charge 1.01$ from my payoneer card and the transaction shows in "Pre Authorize Transactions List" so there is no 4 digit code there...
    They only show this "Pre-Auth Transaction-POS Signature Purchase International PAYPAL 4029357733 LUX " can someone help me with this??? how can i add my payoneer debit card to my Paypal and become verified .. :)

    I have a HDFC card which is registered for netsafe(vcc) also.I used VCC successfully so far but yesterday my paypal account got limited.
    Reason being: added/removed too many cards.
    Now problem is I can't verify my HDFC main debit card(VCC used to work OK but not main card)?
    anyone can help me with this?
