Does any other forum owner have a list of ips from spammers, phishers, etc to share with all the other forum owners to prevent spam and all? Thank you!

I don't have an exact list handy, but this is what I generally do...

    1) Block most eastern european and Russian IP ranges. Seriously, how much business do you get from those countries other then spam?

    2) Useful links to IPs and Databases which are blacklisted:
    http://spamlinks.net/filter-dnsbl.htm
http://www.spamcop.net/w3m?action=inprogress;type=www (Although relatively small, great resource)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DNSBL (information to educate admins on DNS Blacklisting)
http://www.sdsc.edu/~jeff/spam/Blacklists_Compared.html (scroll down to view histrolical reportst)

Now you don't have to block everything, but it's good practice to shut the known proxy's certain spammers use/frequant and particular robots down before you are nailed with email spam/forum spam...

    good luck

This list contains up to 40.000 IPs of webservers that are currently being used for spamming, and is being updated every 15 minutes :) You could set up a cron job to retrieve it periodically, and block those IPs:
