Anyone have a link to B.I.N Policy

I looked and searched but couldn't find it. Has anyone got a link or know what B.I.N actually means on here. I don't see any point in having it if it means nothing to buyers.

When I click B.I.N I get a pop of a "Binding Contract" to pay within 72 hours, which is fine by me.

What happens if the seller ignores your pm's when he comes online and sells to someone else? Does the B.I.N agreement only apply to buyers?

    Thanks in advance

BIN means Buy It Now, but the seller has the right to deny selling to anyone for any reason.

Ah right, thanks for that so Buy it Now means nothing to the buyer it is only there to protect the seller.

So any time I see something sold via Buy it Now I can contact the seller and offer more and they can sell it to me instead of the buyer who clicked Buy it Now.

This seems seriously flawed to me and I think the DP admin really needs to clarify the rules on Buy it Now... any one else agree?

No. If it's sold, it's sold. If money was exchanged then that deal is done.

Oh so Buy it Now means nothing to the buyer, even though when he clicks, it clearly states that he is entering into a binding contract with the seller and payment must be made within 72 hours. So can the buyer also back out if he sees a better deal somewhere else?

So if instant payment isn't available on Buy it Now and due to the different timezones all over the world this can mean it could be a few hours before an invoice is sent for payment. Then that gives someone else the opportunity to do a deal before payment can be made by the Buy it Now buyer.

Still seems very flawed to me and asks a lot of questions of the integrity of the whole sales process on DP.

Just straight up, the seller can cancel any bid, even a BIN.

I do appreciate your replies especially from someone with your post count and perfect feedback score however is this your opinion or are you 100% sure on everything you have stated here?

I would just like to know for future reference as I'm sure not many others know as you have been the only one to actually reply.

This isn't my opinion, this is/has been the way of the BST section(s).
