Anyone had tried skype in PDA or smartphone ?

I mean if you had use PDA/smartphone for calling .
Is the bandwidth enough to support skype calling .

For I want to reduce call bill, I plan to use skype in smartphone .
    However I don't have a smartphone/PDA yet . I would like to know if it is practical before I buy a smartphone/PDA .

I guess I'm too outdated huh. :) anyway, can you share with me some links to that particular smartphone.. I've been using skype and pretty much falling in love with it.. having such phone will make it even better..

Yeah I use skype with my smartphone, a little bit of lag but it still works. How ever I don't suggest using it for IMing since it will make your phone vibrate every time you get a message

Yes you can make calls but normal skype rates apply for calling. I haven't tried ringing someone from my phone to a computer yet, I'll try this tomorrow, although I have a feeling it will still charge

I worry if the voice is clear and the bandwidth is enough or not .
Since you said you can make call , it solve the problem .
The skype rate is of course cheaper than normal call rate .

Plus, another important question is what is the network of your smartphone while you make the call ? GSM or 3G ?
Thanks for your helpful feedback .

    The network is on 3G.

It works flawlessly with a Nokia N810 - Internet tablet, not a phone.
