Dating ones, do your homework and search them you can use your own site in signature)) much more easier that way
I have had a handful affiliates send traffic to my vendor sites that never convert from facebook. Not worth it in my mind.
facebook hates affiliates? http://rileypool.com/facebook/really-facebook-really/ http://bryn.me/2010/02/08/facebook-hates-affiliates-and-me/
there's actually a script out there called auto traffic avalanche or something similar (honestly can't remember) that allows you to spoof facebooks editorial team and push people to whatever offers you choose, like clickbank products about IM.. might look into it
I've never had a problem to get ads approved there on Facebook, especially the ads for CB products, it's the conversion rate that bothers me.
from my experience its not worth it! I spent 300 back in june and i didn't get one costumer, facebook is not good for advertising people don't login to look for products, they login to talk with people, as a result the ads are not relevant to what there doing Hope this helps
Agree Facebook is good for talking, but if you know what are you talking about. Then you can use it as very nice tool..
I'm glad I read this thread because I was thinking about doing fb ads, but now I change my mind because it sounds like getting profit back is harder than I thought it would be. Thanks for the input everyone.
I found Facebook to be a pretty terrible form of advertisement. Maybe it's just me and the way I market? But it definitely seems like you have to think a lot just to send a product to the right audience... Google AdWords have worked -much- better for me in the past. It can be a little expensive but at least it produced results for me in the past.
I tried it once a few months ago, haven't got any success so far. May be my marketing strategies are not good...
I would not waste my time with facebook, I dumped I think 500 dollars back when the platform came out and was just a bunch of junk traffic, even with all their targeting options, when people are on facebook they are not in search mode, they are in troll mode lol. Then you go to PPC and people are in search mode, totally different results and a lot better ROi
The content network on Adwords isn't targeted but you can make it work. Is Facebook CPM or CPC? I love CPM. Then you can run wild with your ad copy. Facebook will work if your image ads have pictures of celebrities and stuff teenie boopers relate to. Video games, t shirts, ringtones... Just look at what's running. Those offers work.
