Anyone had Moonfish before?

I had my first taste of moonfish last night. It was very nice. Kind of like Swordfish.

That looks too pretty (and SHINY) to eat!! How did it look like when it was prepared?

 

Well, at $25 a meal you don't get a great deal of it. You get two pieces of it. Kind of like a fish steak.

What a selection you have in Aussie! We just have standard boring fish (salmon yumm) here in Canada.

But was prepared and marinated by a philipine store was very yumm!! You can buy them pre packed and frozen air tight too, but have to say white wine goes better!

 

swordfish is too dark and oily for my tastes.. i prefer a lighter fish

Moonfish sounds pretty exotic. The fish is shiny and pretty.
