I need someone to send out bulk email to my target audience. I dont really want to be seen as a spammer. Can anyone offer this service, or point me in the right direction.
Here are some of the questions you should need to answer if you want to get this done. List size? First mailing? (If not, how many complaints do you get per mailout) General Topic? Is
You should really only mail an email once every 5 days to each address to be safe. Make sure the emails have an unsubscribe option because if a person doesn't want any emails they will most likely want to contact someone about it, make it you instead of the Internet authorities. I'm not sure about your emailer but try to make look like it is from a regular email account (you can just tell if an email is not personal). It's best if the addresses are pre-approved (opted-in already) if not make sure the first one is an opt-in email for an option to get your target email. It's better because you find out who is interested and target them (they are the ones that statistically usually make purchases) and you can track how your product can potentially do based on the number of opt-ins. Probably nothing that you haven't heard already but it's good to refresh and you should be fine.
Thanks for the tips. This may sound like a silly question, but where do you get the email addresses from. I get hundreds of emails from companies every day. Where do they get my email addresses from?
The addresses are from all the things that people sign up for (sweepstakes, giveaways, memberships, more information, purchases, etc.) where they add their email on sign up forms. Regular sites to it do when you want more information. It is suttle but they got it and asked for permission too.
Hi Eric, I have a spam email address for all that kind of stuff, but I can register a new email address, and within a week or so it starts receiving emails. How do they get that email address?
it's probably from the email service itself. There might have been a box or a condition that you had to accept in order to get an email address from that service. the big free companies like hotmail and yahoomail usually don't do that but some of the other email services need to.
