I have been press releasing over the last few months but finding a list of release sites that are free and offer a link is proving little difficult. Anyone got a good source? i have been using the following www.freepressreleases.co.uk www.powerhomebiz.com www.ukprwire.com http://openpr.com there seems to be several more that i have posted to that get taken up virally with other pr sources but the initial post didnt give me a link

The time it takes simply isn't worth it for a link that a) isn't always permanent (or at least on a PR page), b) isn't generally relevant, and c) isn't from an authority site in the niche. Instead, focus on one or two solid distribution outlets, or manually distribute, and you'll end up with high quality, permanent, backlinks from relevant authority news sources or niche sites.

I think jhmattern advice is the best one. Even if you submit in all those sites, your PR will be soon buried over 15000 others and all pages except home have PR0... totally wasted time IMHO.
