hi, Im trying to set up Joomla on my new site, but its very hard for me to work out. Basically I want it setup a certain way, but i have no experience with Joomla. Is there anyone out there that will be kind enough to help me with setting up my Joomla site?? Or at least I tell you what i want and you guide me through it??

    Thanks

    Hello you want my opinion?

If you have Fantastico install wordpress and spend 2 hours playing with it and see what you can accomplish. Then spend another 2 hours and see what you can accomplish in Joomla. From here compare your productivity and hands down you will find wordpress faster and easier to work with.

A ton of plugins and themes are available for both.

    Just my 2c

Good luck with it either way.

That is the first time I have ever heard anyone say that.

Drupal is considered by most to have the steepest learning curve

Maybe your mind is setup differently than mind. Joomla is so easy to understand. I agree drupal is more powerful but it is so hard to get into

I like joomla, due to rocketthemes. The main issue with joomla is you have to install a sef program to get seo style url's.
