Anyone good with Flash?

    I havent used it in literally years and I'm struggling with something very simple

    I have a movieclip, and I've used stop() at the start to stop it from playing straight away

    On my main timeline I fade it in, and one a certain frame (frame 85 for instance), I want to make it play, and for the life of me I cannot get it to work.

    I'm using Actionscript 2.0

    You can start by giving that MC an Instance name. Then on frame 85, of you main timeline, you can use instanceName.play();

    Correct me if I am wrong, is that what you are asking.?

    - The text fades in till Frame 85 and plays afterwards.
