Anyone getting LOTS of spam in gmail box the past few days?

Usually, I get almost no spam, it all gets sent right into my spam folder and I never see it. But, the past 4 days I am overloaded with spam in my inbox. Anyone else seeing this happen too? Maybe it's just me =\

 

I get about 5000 spam emails per month, a few more in the recent wouldn't make a difference

 

I have 12,000 in my spam folder and get very few in my inbox but I have had 5 to 10 per day getting to the inbox.

Well, I gotta go. I have to get my bank info together for a Director of Financial Ministires of the Republic of Namfumbia.

 

Spam is the reason why I'm not using my gmail account. I didnt submit my address anywhere - I just sent an invite to my friend once and I get spam mails from his name.

 

I had a gmail account from about 2 1/2 years back.
Never used it at all, it was just a back up account in case.

Then last year, I actually went to the account and it was just 10's of thousands of pure spam!.
And a quick trip through the spam showed that is was coming from other gmail accounts.

Odd, an account never used at gmail, is being spammed heavily by other gmail accounts.

So I sent a nice email to google about the spam, where it was coming from, etc etc etc.

Never got a reply, but my gmail account is gone for good!
Guess google did not like me complaining that their service was a haven for spammers.

 

Earlier I was not used to get much spam in my GMail's Inbox but for last few days, I have found that many spam mails are passing Google Spam Filter. Looks somebody has got something new idea to break Google Spam Filters

 

Not at all, no spam here.

 

i got a lot of spam in my hotmails, a lot of spam in my gmails

but hardly any spam in yahoo mails...


yahoo mail is the best of the 3 by far..

 

I've received a TON of spam in my gmail account, so your certainly not the only person.
