Anyone getting increased traffic from Lycos?

    Over the past month I have seen a huge increase in traffic to one of my sites from Lycos. Strange thing is the ave number of page view from Google might be 3/4, but from Lycos it is about 20 per visit. I'm a bit suspicious about this. Anyone else noticed this?

    Nope, I've never had visitor from Lycos (and my site has 1500 visitors daily). It might be some kind of referral redirection or something because that pageview difference is pretty big. I would definitely keep an eye on it.

    yes, we are getting the same thing. Increase started in May and has gotten larger in June.

    I'm now seeing this traffic from Lycos begin to tail off now. It was nice while it lasted. 5,000 visits in past month.
