Hello there, I'm soon going to be having my first go at Affalite marketing and I was wondering if there is anyone from the UK using Clickbank? I know that the checks come out in US dollars - I've never tried or asked about depositing a check in another currency into my bank account before, so I don't know what happens. My bank account is with Halifax if that makes a difference. Basically what I want to know is.. 1.) Can I put a check for US dollars into my UK bank account? 2.) Will the dollars be automatically converted into UK Pound Sterling's? (£) 3.) I'm guessing if number 2 is correct their will be a fee - around how much is it? Thanks!
Not from the UK, but I doubt the handling of foreign checks will differ much between the UK & The Netherlands... 1) Yes 2) Yes 3) Here it varies from bank to bank, somewhere between $10 - $30 Something to take into consideration: Usually they'll deposit it directly, and simply withdraw it again if there appears to be something wrong with the check after a few days/weeks. But in some situations your bank might require the check to be fully cleared before they'll deposit the money into your bank account. I'm not sure what the exact procedure is, but I think they'll have to send the check back to the US.. Anyways: if that's the case you might have to wait 2-4weeks for the money to arrive ;-\.
How long does it usually take to receive a check, i also live in the Netherlands and i will receive my first check soon
Usually somewhere between 1 or 2 weeks. It makes me wonder though,.. we're living in 2007 and it still has to take 2 weeks for a small check to arrive, then 4weeks to transfer some money. Thank god the checks are valid for 90days Btw, make sure you build up a good reputation with CB: if you start earning enough money (not sure how much exactly, at least $1000 or $5000+) each pay period, you can unofficially apply for direct deposit/wire transfer. Needless to say: it's a lot faster and comes in very handy when having to pay for (PPC) adverting.
I'm in the UK. To answer your questions, yes you can pay the cheques into your bank account. With my bank (Lloyds TSB) I simply fill out a form and hand over the cheque. It takes about 5 days to clear, and you have to pay about £8 to process it. It's worth upping the payout limit in Clickbank, so this £8 fee doesn't eat into your profits too much. Hope this helps.
yeh as said above. i to cash cb cheques in my bank (HSBC) this opnly takes 3 days usually to cash. had no problems yet whatsoever..
