There is a 90 % chance of me moving to australia next summer. Perth in Western Australia to be more exact.

Are there any australians here? Even better, are there anyone from Western Australia?

If I move I'll probally sell most of my stuff here in Norway. So my question is:

Where is the best place to buy a used car? (I like Audi and BMW's)
Where can I buy electronics? (I'm gonna need a new computer, flatscreen etc)
    Where can I buy furniture?

And how is it with insurance, internet in perth, cable and stuff like that.

And my last question. What is the first things I should visit when I get there? What is the first thing(s) I should see/learn about Perth (or West AUS) ?

"Newegg.com does not currently ship internationally; we only deliver to locations within the United States and to Puerto Rico."

Cypherus, for monitors, TVs, and other 'off the shelf' electronics and whitegoods (and even furniture I think), Harvey Norman is a good place to start. The service is crap, and the staff are useless - but they're cheap, and have a decent range of stuff.

I'm in NZ (ie not Perth but I'm butting in anyway) and we just had some friends move over from the UK and they couldn't believe how many used car sales yards we have. If Perth is anything like Auckland then you'll have no chance of visiting them all, focus on the ones within a certain radius of your "basecamp", visit 10 or 20 and you'll have a good idea of what's available and the prices.

Dude, why would you buy from newegg.com if based in Australia?

If Perth is anything like Sydney, you will have plenty of local chinese computer retailers to choose from. Building one of your own computers with one of these retailers would be your best option, or you could go with a branded PC like Dell.

Why move to perth? Move to the east coast. for electronics try scorptec.com, i think they sell whole systems, or build your own :)
