Have a zipped file holding my wordpress site,but its in mac osx and my local machine is windows-cant read files,and same when uploaded to server
Hi there, Have you tried using StuffIt Expander. This is a mac software that is availible now for windows. Go to their site and llok for the free version. I believe this is cross compatible so should unpack your mac zipped file. If it still doesnt work: Is the name of your file xxxx.zip or something else. If different tell me and I will get on my friends mac and research it for you. Awkman
If it's .zip archive you should have no problem to open it on both platform. Maybe the file itself is broken/damaged.
