I need to to know if anyone has used the Classipress theme, maybe not as a classified ad place, but as a basis for a blog or website directory. I am in the processing of building a directory but I need something that will allow me to give everyone a full page spread if possible. I do like the fact the Classipress does most of the things automated that you would normally need plugins for on wordpress. I have not purchased this yet as I would like to hear from someone who is using this. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help. Rhonda
Yes you can do that with Classipress http://www.appthemes.com/themes/classipress/ You can use it for many kind of sites not only a classifieds site.
Thanks for your reply. I ended up buying Directorypress and it is working great. Took a week to learn how to use it, but the site has been up about three days now and is already filling up. I like Directory press because everyone can have a full page to talk about their business or product. Right now I am offering the featured ads for free to help get the directory started but come March will still have free listings but the featured will cost. This theme even has a slider for the featured sites to appear in which is quite pretty. The theme cost $79 if you go directly to the site, but I was watching a tutorial on Youtube and found a discount and got the program for $59.
