Hi guys, I have this funny thing that happen to my site, it is an aged domain, no PR yet. I am promoting this site on very competitive kws for almost 2 months now, but funny thing when I check the ranks, I got different ranking on 4 different browser. on chrome my ranking is #2 on Safari my ranking is #6 on Firefox my ranking is #12 on IE my ranking is #18 all for the same keyword. LOL. and when I try to discuss this with my buddy which lives in Australia, he got different result; on his chrome, my ranking for that keyword is #10 on safari, is #17 on firefox is #14 on IE, it is #22 Why it is different? anybody experience this? how can I determine which to follow? which to trust for the ranking of my keyword? Please advice, Thanks
Google utilizing the different patterns to display results, mostly what did you get the personalized results, just try to remove cookies, plz make sure to log out of your gmail, youtube other google properties, stop location sharing feature in IE, firefox, change preferences in google toolbar etc... make effect your rankings. Do you like to know what excatly your rankings are then use the google adwords preview tool where you can select the location and search for results. If you had still issues get back here.. cheers
You have to check in which Google you are searching. When your friend search in Google.au you will see different results compared to Google.com or Google.co.uk. Personalized results has nothing to do with this, personalized results will always display your site on number 1. Every Google produces different results.
