    Is this possible? Copyright?

I have idea that I'm 99% sure doesn't exist. It's a non-profit website that helps people with student loans. I want to do the same thing, and have one for medical bills also. If people copy the idea, it will make my website less effective for patrons. School a newbie...how do you protect your precious ideas.

    *horror* I'm a writer and there's a typo in my title and I can't change it. */horror*

    Hey,

I once emailed the UK intellectual property office, and they emailed back with information I will paste here because it may help :)

I know it's for the UK, but it may be of use to you anyway :)

Im not sure how getting a patent for an idea on the internet would work, but if you can do it and afford it, you would have to decide if the patent is for your country only, europe, america or worldwide.
