Anyone every been linked by I-am-bored.com? I'm a little upset about it...

    Hey there

    So all day I've been real excited because I-am-bored.com linked ot my site and sent over a ton of traffic to read a story I wrote.

    I was however confused that no one seemed to be clicking on any of my ads. I tried every concievable placement, no luck. 10,000 uniques in 24 hours and I made $1. I was really discouraged by this.

    Then I noticed that when you click on the link up on I-am-bored, you don't actually go to my site. You go to some URL on I-am-bored.com and see my site with a big old frame around it AND THE ADDS BLOCKED.

    First, this pisses me off because I worked really hard on my story and am pretty much being stolen from by this guy. He gets content for his users, I get zip.

    Second, I'm wondering why my content is showing up on a page with his URL?

    Is this copyright infringement?

    Also, is there a way I can switch a setting so his site won't link over anymore? I'd like to stop him from doing this somehow.

    Sigh. The internet sucks sometimes. You work hard, get some traffic and then find out its all a dud.

    maybe putting a redirect in the meta tag of that particular page so it redirects back to itself, breaking out of that sites frame? just a thought.

    So i looked it up and he was in fact framing my site.

    Some simple java script seems to have solved this problem.

    NICE!

    thats one way to go.
    or this
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;url=">

    heres another:
    <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript">
    <!-- begin hiding JavaScript from old browsers
    // define redirect function
    // change redirect2.htm to required destination
    function redirect(){
    parent.location.href="place url here"
    }
    // End hiding JavaScript -->
    </SCRIPT>

    If you fell you are being ripped off, replace your article with a picture of your ass :)
    Let him display that in his frame :)

    Here's a question:

    So I've put up the frame breaker and that's great.

    But now I can't really edit my own blog entries in wordpress....because it involved frames.

    Is there something I can add to the javascript that will let my domain and only my domain frame my pages?

    I dont understand. Why does the frame breaker does not let you edit your blog? the site theme has nothing to do with the admin console.
