I use godaddy and I've been very happy with them. They are cheap too, their support is really good, infact I put in an email support question yesterday and they answered me in about an hour which is pretty good. So far haven't had any down time either.

I know Godaddy gets a lot of smack from more experienced webmasters, but I like them. Haven't had a problem with them yet. Very cheap, haven't had any downtime, they even doubled my bandwidth and space for no extra charge! No problems here...

not bad at all if you're seeking cheap, shared hosting.
Quick support and plenty of goodies for a starter-level webmaster.

godaddy is good. But i never used godaddy.

I used some times with startlogic and more times with netfirms. I think netfirms is the best for my experiance. But i did like cpanel to a large extent which is not given in netfirms.

I use GoDaddy and they are really good. The prices are extremely fair with lots of storage. and I've asked like a million questions, all answered within 1 day.

ps: Google godaddy coupon codes to save $$.

I've been with GoDaddy since I started publishing and I have found them to be reliable and extremely helpful. Their customer service is nothing short of top-notch and every one of the representatives I've talked to have gone above-and-beyond to help me out. For the novice webmaster, I give them two thumbs up.

I use GoDaddy only to register domains, and hostgator for hosting needs.

Um, check their site? https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/hosting/landing.asp?se=+&ci=415 (or under the Hosting & Servers tab on the top of the page).

I've used them for a handful of domains, and have been happy with that. I tried out GoDaddy hosting, but since I've only been using it for a month, I can't comment on their up-time, etcetera.

I was extremely impressed with how fast my account was setup. However, one MySQL account per MySQL database? Yikes. That means no database security based upon user ... (id est, one user for admin purposes, and one user for general purposes).

I like them for domains but i don't like their hosting because their traffic tracker sucks and there is no AWStats :D

Once I signed up with them but had to take refund as mod_rewrite functionality didn't work properly and they had no clue how to correct it. Otherwise everything is fine with them.

that's weird... mod_rewrite works fine for me...

anyways... I'm using the deluxe plan so I get around 1,000GB of bandwidth which they recently upgraded from 500GB as well as the storage. :D:D:D:D

Yes, I use them, they are fine and well priced. Only beef is with the time to change the dns servers seems to be on the slow end

Has anyone had experience with GoDaddy and large volumes of traffic, like if your site got featured on Slashdot or digg?

I've pretty much only heard negative reviews for GoDaddy's hosting elsewhere.
