Has anyone ever tried on of these myspace bulletin services or a myspace bulletin from the marketplace here. I was wondering how much traffic it produce and any other results you can give. Some accounts that have like 50,000 friends might be worth the dollars? Just wondering, I hate to contribute to myspace spam but you gotta do what you gotta do?
I will give you the response that I got. For some it does not work at all and for some it is like a gold mine. You got to try before you find an answer for yourself. Goodluck... PS: I am in midst of trying. First bulletin went out today. I can tell you tomorrow looking at my Analytics chart.
Nice, would you mind pm'ing me, or posting here, what you're promoting with the bulletin as well as results. You may want to pm what it is just to be on the safe side, i think? Anyway, psyched to find out E
Yea, everything is good it depend on you not the thing it self, for example affiliate marketing sucks for me, but others are making more then what I make from current sources .
I think I may give this a try myself so I'll let you guys know how it turns out. It's not that expensive for a try!
I think it depends on the person is really honest on the service or not.I have seen and tried many people who are providing the service boost that thay have x,xxx, xxx friends but in the end there's only X hits from the bulletin.Obviously its sent from a account with x,xxx friends. Be careful
Ok so I am using this service: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=179073 I had one bulletin sent on Thursday and one today. Considering the bulletin going out to 70K+ profiles, so far G Analytics shows me 49 hits from the bulletins. Not great I had say but hey I wasn't overly optimistic about the results. I shall wait till Monday morning and aggregate all the results. Stay tuned...
I think there are still a few types of sites that can do well from bulletin traffic however myspace users seem to be getting blinder when it comes to bulletins and the sheer number of them, I would suggest coming up with a semi-original idea to market.
Winsock, I agree, I may give it try though just for fun. No really conclusive evidence on this one so it'll be interesting to see what happens. I'll for sure report back to ya'll about it. Anymore people have any experience with it? E
I tried it once, it really sucks. ALl I got was litttle kids who made nearly no difference in my profit. Its worse than bulk traffic.
You might get a better response for certain niches. Like people with music sites, fun and entertainment related sites have mentioned a good response. I guess will depend closely on your niche and the type of service you offer... Bye
Fun sites, Humor sites, Jokes sites, shock sites get TONNES of traffic from MySpace bulletins. Whereas sites of the serious tone don't get much, people at MySpace are there to have fun, not to know about your web designing company IT
Ive bought couple of them, so far i havent gotten a service good nough for my money, i would of been better off paying adwords... its all in the person you buy it from, if they lie about the accounts used for this being new to advertising, youll get crap for service.
There aren't huge groups for things other than the ones that are intended for Fun. So it clarifies my point again IT
