http://www.xml-sitemaps.com/ I tried their 500 page limit free trial and it looked pretty good. Is it worth the price for the unlimited page version?
You may check for free XML site out there. They are as good but don't know if they go unlimited though...
I recommend downloadable GSiteCrawler. It's a program that runs from your computer, provided you are connected to the internet. What I normally do is to have the program crawl my website while I go to sleep or go to work. There is no limit. When the crawl is completed, you can created sitemap.xml, ror.xml, sitemap.html or urllist.txt just by the push of a button. Just google for GSiteCrawler.
I tried and paid for full version - But it is full of confusions and doesnt work as described. Simply waste of money or may be i am not that good to use that
I suggest checking out multiple tools before decide In addition to my signature, here is a list : http://code.google.com/sm_thirdparty.htm
So long as you have a local version of the website on your computer, I suggest you to try GSiteCrawler. Its free and higly configurable.
Hmmm...i completely agree wid ya...i even thought to buy some software to check broken link...but i found Xenu...every thing has got a freee version to it!!
Careful with Xenu! If you set it to follow external links, it will register with google adsense as a click, from your IP! Do that on every page of your site and you'll be getting a notice from Google. If you are after software to check for broken links, then this webmaster tool has exactly what you need and provides detailed information. It picks up where Xenu left off.
I don't think so. Becoz when Xenu visits the page, it will be able to see only the JavaScript code for Adsense. I don't think Xenu will execute the code, create the Iframe, and then visit the url in the Iframe. I hope you won't get banned from DP for creating unnecessary rumors
Think again - It’s not a rumor, it’s a warning and it WILL get you noticed by Google (provided you run it on your own site and have logged into your account from that IP). It does not have to visit each url - executing the code is enough. From Xenu's Site:
