Cost of living is different from area to area. Current exchange rate is around $49. There are so many on DP who making a living off DP IMO. DON.
Not off DP, of course. Its a place full of haters (sorry to say), but everyone thinks the other person is noob and he/she knows everything. Especially people with higher posts.. Plus you can't rely to it as you can be banned any moment.. Just my thoughts though.. -Ashley
that's definitely a milestone to reach for, the first blog post containing a check from Google ad sense and a story about how all they did was post on revenue-sharing forums. Some ungodly amount of money, $3 million, wire transfer, daily. Maybe a screenshot of the tracking channels with whatever info they don't like us to share blacked out, but still showing that you can be paid out of your mind for posting in forums that reward you do so. The first person who ever does that will forever be known as "The Great Forum Spam Captain" and he will write a system which he will sell as a warrior special offer and here in the BST forum. the guys over a black hat world willl get a hold of it and bot-spam intricate messages back and forth with themselves,Google will catch on and ban them all leading all the extra funds to be left over and used to maintain Joel Comm's ego and contain his hunger. That's a joke Joel, you're really awesome guy.
Making a living off a forum is hard. I took your idea a step further about 5 years ago by joining over 50 forums that had a "job offers" section. I set up a macro to post an ad to all within minutes. Then repeated with other opportunities I had. It worked ok, but I now have a much better marketing campaign. BTW I made $8US/hr doing that.
On the other hand I now have the same sig on most of the biggest webmaster forums. Is that what you were reffering to?

I think it is possible to do so if you are able to make an ebook every week or something and maybe have some good programing and design skills to get good jobs on dp.
I used to try to make a living from dp forum by offering coding html/css for members. But I find out making a living sole on dp forum is impossible. However it is possible if in multiple forums .
i can't and not planning to, can't compete with the guys from India, they charge too low, there is no point for me to work for such low pay when the cost of living in canada is higher...relatively speaking
DON I guess he is talking about Adsense revenue sharing program, that's why he mentioned creating lots of threads OP correct me if I am wrong.
