Anyone ever spent Christmas alone?

    If so, how did you feel? Any advice for the ones who will be alone this Christmas? What would make them feel better?

    I was thinking of Home Alone movies...they always get me in a good mood. I can't imagine Christmas without them :)

    I never spent Christmas alone yet. But with Dvd's, Internet and games I don't think it will be lonely.

    i have spent the last 5 alone, it's a bad time for me so i just don't want people around, daddy was killed on the 21st Dec, so it really is a shitty time for me, though i don't cry anymore... well not as much as i used to. it gets easier year by year. it's been 8 years now.

    believe it or not, DP is busy on Christmas day lol you'll have lots of people to chat too here.

    For me it does not matter being alone at christmas, i lost my dad when i was 2 years old, its a terrible thing but life goes on.

    Well last year I was alone on christmas. I just went to the church and sat there for sometime. Then had a peaceful dinner all by myself. Cruised around the city on my bike. Got back home and slept!
