Just wondering if anyone has ever made any money putting Hostgator.com banners on your website? I host my sites with them and have been happy. How much traffic do you need to get a sale?
only money i mad was signing up people i knew. its not like its something everyone needs, so unless you have tech site not sure worth it.
Their paid out seemed fantastic, but nope, have not made a single cent out of it, I guess because of such great paid out the competition out there is tough.
Almost all hosting companies have great payouts. The market is difficult and a simple banner will not do it. Most money can be made with websites like Web Host Gear and Web Hosting Resource Kit or Web Hosting Geeks. Chris
That might be true, but it is the concept that counts. Just slapping some banners onto a page is not a great way to promote a product and to expect money. Are your pages on topic? That's where you need to start looking at things. If page content and ads are on topic, then you can do well - no matter how much traffic you get. Sure, more traffic more income, but you get the idea.
