I have had a little success with one sexual advice product in a specific niche but one that has a pretty small market. Nothing major, just a couple sales a month from a simple one page website I set up in January. It's completely auto-pilot and converts about 1 out of a hundred hops or so. So four or five months ago I decided to try a couple Michael Webb products since it seemed somewhat related and a larger market that I could get some more traffic from. Specifically, it was the Questions for Couples and the 500 Lovemaking Tips or whatever it is called. I sent these two products hundreds of hops without a single sale. Out of the products I've promoted these are the only ones that really haven't converted for me at all. Anyway, I decided to set up some traffic tracking on a random website I have that is just sitting there. It turns out that I am getting traffic from a very popular women's sex blog. I am pretty sure the author of this blog accidentally linked to my .com from her blogroll instead of the .net which is related to to this area. So, I was looking for a product for something like "how to please your man" or something like that and some Michael Webb stuff came up. I'll probably just do a personal story type single page blog entry to promote whatever, but I am hesitant to promote Michael Webb stuff. Have any of you had success with his products? Do you have any similar products to suggest? I was thinking of trying something like the non Michael Webb "how to talk dirty" products instead.
Michael Webb's stuff is good quality (I've read questions for couples) but it's not what you'd consider to be a 'desperate' niche so I would imagine the conversion rate wouldn't be as high (if you're just driving traffic to a landing page). If I were to promote his products (I've considered it but haven't got round to it yet) I would build a list in the general area of 'relationships' and I would add his products to an autoresponder sequence. I think his products would convert quite well if you had a reponsive list.
