Has anyone ever gotten really depressed & felt like just erasing it all? I mean their personal ventures? Have any of you actually done it?
Can't say that I have...I've had rough days where I felt like selling it all but never just destroy it. I imagine you wouldn't feel great the day after you destroyed all your work and backups in a fit of rage. Might be a bit like a hangover.
Well i once had a LiveJournal Account and got so fed up with it, i deleted it all. But i guess that doesnt really count
Does it count if you didn't mean to, but - ups, wrong botton ? Or even better - this happened to me as well - when your 2-year old son who is a fanatic button pusher (even better than his granmother at operating the tv) and you go out of the room for 5 seconds to get him something... and you return to an empty-looking desktop... "hrmmm weird, I thought i left a lot of documents on the dektop??" Yup, nasty things do happen in real life
Oh sure; blame the 2 year old, uh huh.... Mine has done this countless times. He never did the desktop however. He was good at going into folders and deleting *those* files. Never happened on my computer; because I wouldn't let him on it. Dads computer is a different story.
Smoooooth. Very smoooooooth. Get in there when they feel their lowest and are willing to do anything. I also volunteer to take over any unwanted sites. Although someone will have to teach me how to do HTML, SEO, PR, CPC, PHP erm ...everything. Yes thats enough to put anyone off getting rid of their site.
It was funny actually..I even built up a huge fan base of avid readers and then i couldnt be arsed any more. Shame because that was tabloid shit, i think i missed my journalist vocation in life, why im doing flippin travel & tourism i dont knowwwww
I'm surprised to get such a response. It's one of those theoretical ideas. These sites here are not mine their my company's but I have my own personal ventures too. I couldn't do it but has the thought ever come in your head "What If"??? I mean what would my world be like if I didn't have to take care of ventures that I own. Nah I couldn't just give up anything anyway. There are very few people that think in sync with the international plan the company has. But I'll remember that...
lol. Don't tell me he went into the recycle bin as well, and rewrote a few dozen gigabytes of data to make sure you couldn't use recovery software.
Olney I have erased everything I started out with to start something new. I am self taught so needless to say, it was pretty ugly at one point. Use it as a learning experience and start over fresh ... it can work
