California is known for its idiotic rulings, the most liberal judges known and the most corruptible lawyers, they don't care how they make money, as long as they get paid.

California is known for lawsuits in general, everyone is looking for the quick buck and lawsuits seem to be the answer. The courts system there (especially s.cal.) have to be the busiest in the world.

Cool_78- They have people that pump gas for you in Oregon as well. I've heard of people doing it there as well!

It sounds like they are not going to charge him for the pump. I guess they have insurance because that kind of thing happens all the time!

Which insurance company are they going to charge, is it the car insurance company or the pump insurance company?

I don't know, they said don't worry about it! It happens. Maybe they will pay out of pocket to keep insurance form going up?

Normally the fault of the person has to pay. Probably the car insurance will payout, and the car owner will lose his no claims bonus.

haha hasn't happened to me...yet, today i had a gas station blooper. I stopped at a place I never got gas at, and it took me forever to figure out how to use the gas pump. I put it in and pulled the leaver but no gas.....tried it again....selected payment type....still no gas. then after a few minutes of trying it over and over i realized i had to select what type of gas i wanted...DOH! Then the lady inside looked at me funny like I was an idiot hahaha.

We have had drive-thrus at banks for about 20 years or more. What is wrong with that? It saves time for many people.

even in the city I live in were parking isn't a huge problem, it would be around a bank if it didn't have the drive-thrus.

Sure I am lazy about certain things, but you will find me stop the car and run to the teller (machine) before I wait in a line of cars in the drive-thru. :D

Are you apposed to the drive-thru coffee shops we have too?

The NW of the USA is filled with drive-thru coffee shops. Here is one that is popular in Oregon, just check out the map on their site.

To my knowledge, there is no drive-thru banks, only mcdonalds and KFC.

Wow, I live in the middle of nowhere in upstate NY and I can't remember a time without drive-thru banks. They've literally been here for at least 30 years, and they save a lot of time.

I have spent over an hour trying to think of any other drivethru apart from fast food within 25miles of where i live. Mcdonalds and KFC are the only ones.

I never have, but when I filled up the other day, the nozzle on the gas pump was bent like someone else did.
