Just wondered if anybody has ever tried to make a toolbar for IE/Firefox that would enable them to earn commision from searches etc.. I have seen an ebay misspellings toolbar out there and since it is freeware i presume they are making money from it by adding their affiliate ID to the search. It could be done with other programs such as pricerunner or kelkoo but i dont have the technical knowhow to make a toolbar. Just thought i'd pass on the idea to someone who might be able to put it into practice. Obviously there is still the issue of getting people to use it but thats another story all together.
I had a toolbar couple of years ago and drop it because I was paying for toolbar distribution but then my toolbars started getting removed by anti virus programs.. *sigh* Those were the good ol'days
