    I don't really see a problem with this. It not un-ethical at all. If you wanted to purchase ringtones from my ringtone application and receive your commission as a discount i wouldn't have a problem with it. Obviously merchants are still profiting from the sale so why would they be so against this? Like project mobius said, its almost like an employee discount.... :)
